Each year a proportion of any surplus monies from the North Downs Run is donated to selected local  charities.

Our main recipient over the years has been Ellenor and we are proud to say that we have donated over £16,500 to this charity since 1996.  This year was no exception and a cheque for £500 was presented to Tina Dyson, Community Fund Raising Officer.

Other beneficiaries from the 2023 event were the Elliott Holmes Memorial Trust (a charity providing counselling for young people),  Gravesham Sanctuary, the Gravesham Food Bank and the North Downs Way, whose assistance is invaluable to the running of the North Downs Run.
