The Shorne Wood 5 has been staged annually since 2001... Originally as a replacement race for the Istead 10K
the entirely off road 5 mile course has proved to be very popular and is famed its undulations including Cardiac Hill
Recent developments within Shorne Country Park including the introduction of many kissing gates would restrict the race flow...... Therefore we have a new more testing course which we hope you will enjoy.
